Betty A. Anderson, M.S., Senior Scientist

Ornithology, Data Management and Analysis, Bird Collision Studies, Environmental Assessment

Betty Anderson conducted bird studies in central and northern Alaska and was a principal investigator for a multiyear study of the threatened Spectacled Eider. Her research focused principally on behavioral ecology and population dynamics in relation to resource development, impact assessment, disturbance, and habitat modification. She also had expertise in NEPA documentation and participated as a team member on the preparation of several environmental impact statements. Betty also was ABR’s Proposal Manager, was involved in the QA/QC program, and worked closely with the research coordinators and project leaders to develop proposals and provide quality research for clients.
