Betty Anderson has conducted bird studies in central
and northern Alaska, including principal investigator
for a multiyear study of the threatened Spectacled
Eider. Her research has focused principally on behavioral
ecology and population dynamics in relation to resource
development, impact assessment, disturbance, and
habitat modification. She also has expertise in
NEPA documentation and has participated as a team
member on the preparation of several recent environmental
impact statements. Betty also is ABR’s Proposal
Manager, is involved in the QA/QC program, and works
closely with the research coordinators and project
leaders to develop proposals and provide quality
research for clients.
