Kate specializes in vegetation studies, including restoration, native and non-native plant inventories, vegetation classification, and wetlands delineation. Her experience includes ecological restoration on Alaskan oilfields, non-native plant inventories and research, plant identification, native and rare plant inventories, wetlands delineations, vegetation classification, ecosystem mapping and data management. She has been doing botanical fieldwork in Alaska since 2000.
