Bob Day has extensive research experience in Alaska
and elsewhere, in both marine and terrestrial studies.
He has conducted research on such diverse topics
as the effects of the Exxon Valdez oil
spill on birds and mammals, the nocturnal biology
of endangered seabirds in Hawaii and their interactions
with powerlines, and the distribution of mesopelagic
fishes and squids in the North Pacific. Bob’s
diverse research interests and leadership abilities
have made him invaluable on a number of multidisciplinary
studies conducted by ABR.
