Janet Kidd manages ABR’s Ecological Restoration Program and serves as technical advisor for ABR’s Wetlands Program. Her recent research includes developing effective land rehabilitation strategies for promoting the creation of wetlands in the Prudhoe and Kuparuk oilfields; developing a reclamation research program at the Ekati Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories, Canada; and providing technical guidance in preparing revegetation and mitigation plans for the mining industry in Alaska. Janet is a Certified Wetland Scientist and has conducted numerous wetland surveys and wetland functional assessments to support permitting requirements for various transportation and mine development projects.
