Jim King is one of ABR’s primary aerial-survey experts. His experience includes 30+ years as a pilot-biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, during which he developed some of the first waterfowl, seabird, and bald eagle surveys for Alaska. Jim’s avian identification skills have been used not only while flying surveys, but also when assisting in ground-based nesting studies in northern Alaska. His wealth of experience has been a major asset for ABR and our biologists.
