Jon Plissner joined ABR in 2002 after 20 years
of experience in ecological research. His diverse
background includes work with a number of sensitive
bird species (Piping Plover, Great Plains; Marbled
Murrelet, PNW; Loggerhead Shrike, Channel Islands).
His background and skills include bird censusing,
metapopulation viability analyses, behavioral studies,
statistical support, and passerine and shorebird
ecology. Jon’s work will provide ample opportunities
to design and implement monitoring and impact assessment
research.
