John R. Rose, M.S., Research Biologist

Ichthyology, Ornithology, Marine Mammals

John Rose has extensive experience on a wide range of marine and freshwater aquatic studies, and terrestrial bird and mammal studies. Because of his field expertise, John has been an active contributor to many studies, including snow goose investigations in the Endicott Development Area and the Ikpikpuk River delta, bird migration studies in interior and arctic Alaska, statewide avian and mammal aerial surveys, and tundra-nesting bird studies on the Colville Delta. John’s fisheries experience includes a baseline fishery study for the proposed West Sak Development in the Kuparuk Oilfield, and fisheries investigations in the Teshekpuk Lake area of northern Alaska.
