Alice A. Stickney, M.S., Research Biologist

Mammalogy, Ornithology, Subsistence Resource Use

Alice Stickney has conducted seabird population studies in Prince William Sound and the Bering Sea, marine mammal mark-and-recapture studies, waterfowl productivity studies, predator-prey dynamics of arctic foxes in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, and subsistence resource use in selected villages. Recently, Alice has acted as the field office manager for tundra-nesting bird studies on the Colville Delta, monitored the productivity of brant and swans in the northern Alaska oilfields, and assisted in radar ornithology studies in Alaska, continental U.S., and Europe.
