Jojo has an array of field and lab research experience in aquatic ecology and the earth sciences. Most recently, he has led extensive stream and lake sampling on the North Slope as part of a long-term, nationwide ecological monitoring project. Jojo also brings a complementary background in sedimentary geology and GIS to the aquatics team.
