Transportation

ABR has provided environmental and permitting support for transportation projects for over 30 years. We are routinely contracted to collect baseline biological data for road, highway, and airport projects in Alaska. We have done only a small amount of work on rail projects and are seeking to expand our services for that sector. Our transportation work routinely includes:

• Baseline wetland mapping and Section 404 Clean Water Act permitting support

• Baseline bird, mammal, and fish surveys

• Bird nest surveys for Migratory Bird Treaty Act compliance

• Raptor surveys and Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act permitting support

• Impact assessments and NEPA document preparation
