Peter has over 10 years of field technician experience on wildlife projects in Alaska, mostly in the North Slope. Based in Utqiagvik, he has worked with a variety of entities on numerous wildlife projects including avian, fisheries, marine mammals, and polar bears. For two years, he was a physical science technician for NOAA. He currently also works as a mechanic and provides logistical support to scientific projects. From over six years of living in Utqiagvik, he has learned a lot of traditional ecological knowledge from being involved in local subsistence activities.
