Tawna brings over 17 years of experience in Alaska wildlife research and software development to ABR. She has participated in numerous field studies to document spatial and temporal variation in the distribution and abundance, species-richness, and species-composition of the avian and mammal communities in areas proposed for resource development. She also participates in research on migration and impact assessment related to wind, hydro, and utility projects. Tawna received her Master's of Science in biology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
