Little Mount Susitna Wind Project Desktop Wetland Mapping and Project Management

ABR began wetland and vegetation mapping work for the Little Mount Susitna (LMS) Wind Project by making use of existing map products for the LMS study area, including the existing coarse-scale National Wetland Inventory (NWI) wetland mapping and digital models of hydrography and elevation. NWI mapping was used to identify broad areas where wetlands occurred and helped us identify areas that needed further assessment to prepare a finer scale wetland map. As well as providing desktop wetland mapping, ABR has been selected to provide project management services across a host of environmental permitting activities.
