Sue Bishop and Tim Cater provided a field sampling protocol for a field team to collect soil samples and monitor vegetation at tundra sites affected by brine spills at the Hope Bay Mine in Nunavut, Canada. The field team submitted data to ABR to develop a preliminary rehabilitation plan for the sites. Sue and Tim plan to return to the spill sites in the coming years to continue monitoring tundra rehabilitation efforts and to develop data informed plans for spill response and future tundra rehabilitation in the area.
